I had gone to Utah awile back for my birthday to go to best friends, the whole society has inspired me, and I adopted not one, but two cats when I had gone (considering I'm allergic to cats and we weren't planning on it.... That's saying something)
Your work for animals is great!

Thanks for faving :glomp:
i appreciate the work you are doing and i wish you all the success continuing it:clap:
I absolutely love your gallery and what you are doing for these animals
My mom told me about your sanctuary some time ago. I just found you on deviantART.

I am in Long Beach, CA, and have been hoping for quite some time to find a parrot friend for my Congo African Grey, Henry. He's 13 and I've had him since he was a few months old. He loves me and we share constant attention, but he is showing more and more interest in companionship with other birds. My other birds - a cockatiel, ringneck parakeet, and lovebird (all adopted from people who could not keep them) are just too much smaller, and become intimidated by Henry!

I am not looking to breed, just give Henry a friend of his own kind - perhaps another African Grey, or an Amazon of some variety.

I will keep a watch here and on your site, and see if perhaps the right bird might come along to join our home and be Henry's pal.
I do hope you are able to find a larger, feathered friend for Henry!

Wonderful you've taken interest in looking at the birds we have at our shelter, as well!

You may have seen this already, but thought I would provide the link, in case you have not, on adopting Parrots from us! It should go right to the Parrot part, but if not, you can click on top for it to bring you to their part!

Whether from us, or another, I again hope you are able to find Henry a friend, and he finds his friend to be just great! :D
I did read through the adoption information on your own web site, thank you!

I just know that when we do bring home another friend, I want it to be one of the birds so much in need of a home, not just going out and buying from a store. I can't rescue them all, much as I would like to, but there is definitely a forever home here for one, when the right one comes along.
