One look at her extraordinary ears, and you know how she got her name. But wait `til you hear her story. Batgirl was rescued from the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina when she was just a puppy. And she's been waiting and hoping for a home of her own ever since!

A healthy, friendly dog, Batgirl came to the Sanctuary from a shelter in Texas. She enjoys petting, and will stay close by your side. Batgirl loves being around people and is up for doing whatever you like. She's good on walks and knows the "sit" command. This happy girl likes to go on outings. She is also good around other dogs. Born in 2005, she'll do best with an active single person, couple or family with teenagers.

Batman had Robin to always be by his side. Wouldn't you give Batgirl the chance to be your sidekick and partner in life? She would be so grateful to finally have a best friend and a home to call her own and maybe a dog friend too!
